Example of using free off-line messaging
To send free off-line messages you have to pass following steps:
Step 1. Subscribe to the service in one of the possible ways:
- 1st Way. Open your GoogleTalk and invite new recipient whose user id is service@gtalk2voip.com.
- 2nd Way. Go to the main page of this site and submit your user id by pressing "Invite" button, then accept the invitation from service@gtalk2voip.com.
Step 2. Open a chat window to user service@gtalk2voip.com and send a text command like MSG friend@gmail.com some message text. This will tell GTalk2VoIP gateway to store your "some message text" to user friend@gmail.com. When he/she reappear on-line, this message will be instantly displayed to him/her. Example:
Romeo: msg julia@gmail.com Hi! I have good news for you. Please call me when you are back on-line.
service: You entered: msg juliette@gmail.com Hi!
Sending off-line message to juliette@gmail.com: Hi! I have good news for you. Please call me when you are back on-line.
... after the user signs-in back to google talk:
service: Off-line message from: romeo@gmail.com date: Mon Mar 6 18:13:54 2006
I have good news for you. Please call me when you are back on-line.
Please note, that...
- Your off-line message will be sent to the user only on sign-in or status change events. This means, your message would not come instantly if your frined is on-line at the moment of message sending.
- No limit for number of messages sent or stored is set.
Send all your questions and ideas for further service improvements to GTalk2VoIP TEAM. We would certainly like to hear from y
ou!
If you've tested and liked our services, please let your friends know about it, send them a voice mail. Thank you.
